Early Landowners of Ruscombmanor Township, Berks County, PA (pdf download)

This chapter is based on the 1789 map drafted by Cadwalader Evans, Jr., and edited by Leon F. Borst. A second map contains the Evans/Borst map with atlas coordinates superimposed over it to allow quick reference to the transcribed information regarding the first landowner. The third map consists of a modern road map superimposed over the Evans/Borst map by an engineer to allow researchers to locate tracts owned by the first landowners in Ruscombmanor Township. Further research will be necessary to reveal their warrants, patents and surveys.
